Об этой банкноте
The National Bank of Poland (Narodowy Bank Polski) commissioned the printing of a new 50 zlotych banknote dated March 1, 1990. This note was part of an unissued series intended to introduce the fourth zloty. However, the series was not released into circulation as it was determined that a more sophisticated design was needed.
The obverse features the Town Hall in Wroclaw on the right and the national coat of arms on the left. The reverse displays a medallion on the left. The banknote measures 138 x 64 mm and was printed by Giesecke & Devrient in Germany. In 1996, these unissued notes were overprinted with "NIEOBIEGOWY" (non-circulating) and released to collectors.
