The Red Army Command issued this 10 lei banknote in 1944 during the Soviet occupation of Romania. Printed by Goznak, the Soviet state printing house, these notes were introduced between May 15 and August 19, 1944, to facilitate transactions within the occupied territories.
The obverse features the inscription "COMANDAMENTUL ARMATEI ROSII" (Red Army Command) along with the denomination "10 LEI" and the year "1944." The reverse displays similar inscriptions without additional imagery. Measuring 160 x 80 mm, the note is printed on paper and was demonetized on October 1, 1944.
